Antioxidants | What is an antioxidant?
Our foods are the best source where we can find antioxidants like Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Beta Carotene, etc. Antioxidants are used to neutralize free radicals from causing damage like heart disease or cancer.
Try to remove things that can cause oxidative damage like red meat or cholesterol-raising food (fast “crap” food). Doing this you avoid the damage on your artery that causes heart disease, for example.
Important: The supplements of antioxidants won’t help you the way fruits and vegetables will. Try to get antioxidants from fruits and veggies, not from pills.

You can eat it raw in a salad, steam it on the stove or you can grill it.
Note: The asparagus should be nice and firm all the way through the stem. They need to be pretty much uniform in color and the tip compact and closed.
Asparagus has an effect on our body in increasing the amount of urine, therefore asparagus is recommended also for the persons who are suffering from urinary infections.
This way, it helps your body to flush away all the “BAD” regarding your urinary system. Asparagus is rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, fiber or potassium.
